NWFA COMPLAINT PROCESS

The NWFA offers a complaint process to ensure that all NWFA members and Certified Professionals abide by a Standards of Conduct. In addition to the Standards of Conduct by which all members agree to abide, each NWFACP certification promotes an additional Standards of Conduct.

If you feel an NWFA member or Certified Professional has violated its Standards of Conduct, complete the appropriate form below. NWFA will notify its member or Certified Professional of your complaint and offer the opportunity for a response.

For complaints against member companies, NWFA will contact the member with details of the complaint and encourage a swift and mutually beneficial resolution. NWFA cannot act as arbitrator.

For complaints against Certified Professionals, an appointed Hearing Committee comprised of wood flooring professionals will examine all of the documentation and determine whether there was a violation of the Standards of Conduct. This complaint process does not address, nor resolve any inspection-related issues, it is only to determine Code of Conduct violations.

You may attach supporting documentation. Only documentation included on the submission form will be accepted. No additional documentation may be submitted via postal mail or electronic mail. Instructions on utilizing file sharing tools may be found on the complaint form.

Please note: NWFA does not review inspection reports. In the event of concerns surrounding a Code of Conduct violation by an NWFA Certified Professional, NWFA suggests filing a complaint.
