NWFA to Host Member Pavilion and Other Events at TISE

NWFA TO HOST MEMBER PAVILION AND OTHER EVENTS AT TISE

The National Wood Flooring Association will host a Member Pavilion, education seminars, and networking reception at The International Surface Event (TISE), January 23-25, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“We are looking forward to a great show this year,” says Michael Martin, NWFA CEO & President. “TISE always brings together a great group of professionals. We look forward to engaging with them on a more personal level through the numerous events we have planned.”

Twelve NWFA members will be joining the NWFA in the Member Pavilion, #5430. These member companies include Aacer, Allegheny Mountain Hardwood Flooring, Ashawa Bay Hardwood Floors/Hill Wood Products, Inc., Basic Coatings, Fortifiber Building Systems Group, Luxe Premium Floors, Mercier Wood Flooring, Norton, Penn Wood Products, Premiere Finishing & Coating LLC, Sheoga Hardwood Flooring, and Waterlox Coatings Corporation. The NWFA will be hosting a happy hour in the Member Pavilion from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 24.

The NWFA Member Reception will take place on Wednesday, January 23 from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. in the Mandalay Bay South Convention Building. Drinks and appetizers will be provided. This event is invitation only.

Brett Miller, NWFA VP of Education & Certification, Kjell Nymark, NWFA Certification and Training Manager, and Jon Namba, NWFA Regional Instructor and owner of Namba Services, will present various education sessions in the Hammer + Nails track of TISE’s education program, January 22-25.

The half-day seminar on Moisture Testing, presented by Brett Miller, along with other leading industry experts, will take place on Friday, January 25 from 12:00 – 5:00 p.m. in the Mandalay Bay, South Pacific C Room. During this seminar, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from manufacturers about the tools used in the wood flooring industry.

The NWFA will also launch a Consumer Campaign during the show. The purpose of the Consumer Campaign is to help consumers understand the difference between real wood and wood-look flooring products and to give wood flooring professionals the necessary tools to help their customers make informed buying decisions.
